After two weeks of dramas I settled into doing some artwork. At around 9 p.m. I finished a piece I was working on for Esu – The Orisha of the crossroads. Had a quick shower made myself a cup of mint- ginger tea and settled down to read the local paper and listen to Leonard Cohen’s, “Ten New Songs”. 10 p.m. time for bed, checked on the dogs, locked the gates and came to bed with Cassandra Wilson singing me to sleep. The rain started twenty minutes into the album. There is nothing like lying in bed at night and listening to the rain on a tin roof so up I got and turned off Cassandra. The Universe’s music, the rain slowly lulled me to sleep. At 6a.m. I jumped out of bed to a brilliant sunny morn. I am still enjoying my new country Belize. Blessings and Joy.
