The weekend was very calm and peaceful. My neighbors on all four sides were away for the two days. I sure did not miss the teenagers playing music at the highest volumes and singing out of key at the top of their lungs as they pretend to be Rock Stars and Hip-Hop artist. I must say they are always happy and carefree as they compete with each other. What I did miss was the laughter and happiness of the little ones as they played ball or cops and robbers and their request for me to teach them how to carve or fold paper. I also missed the smells of wonderful foods floating my way, knowing that some will be handed to me over the fence with the words; “Try this, a don’t think you know it but it’s our favorite”. I have tried so many wonderful dishes since living in this little piece of Paradise. Life is good. I am Blessed.
