Yesterday the Universe gave me a gift. With my eyes I saw the prettiest, largest grasshopper I ever did see. It was five inches long with iridescent blues and greens with a lavish swipe of golden red along the tail.It acted as if it was communicating with us before flying off. I took many pictures with Marlene’s help. It’s not the same as seeing it in person but enjoy and give thanks.
The last few days have been so hectic and filled with a lot of hard backbreaking work. Picking stones from the fields, taking them to the front to create a drive/walkway. Taking wheelbarrow loads of chopped wood to the wood shed for future bonfires and outdoor cooking. We have been trying to get a flower garden going on the little hill in front of the house. When we were renting and had time on our hands, I had got many cuttings from folks around. I started them in plastic bags and many of them took to my loving care and tender talks and without any effort they grew and sprouted.
If plants grow so easily without any effort and produce so much abundance in flowers and fruits why do we human struggle so much to do the same thing? I look around me and see how much leaves a tree has. The amount of fruits and flowers that is on plants, the many birds and insects around. All this make me know for sure that The Great Spirit / God /Allah/Jehovah likes abundance and is willing to create it for us all. Lets stop struggling and just live and celebrate. Above all the wonders of the world the treasures of this earth are the measure of the love that is placed here for each of us. Lets give love and gratitude. The plants and animals do it many times each day.
The dolphin rise out of the water giving praise and gratitude. How about the trees with their limbs open wide giving thanks. Place the souls/soles of your feet; better yet lie naked on the earth, feels its heart beat – saying thanks. The whole universe is giving thanks. The mountains are reaching for the sky touching the clouds as they join in the harmony of the dance giving thanks. This is my life – these are my teachers. I am full of Gratitude. Blessings and Joy to all.

All the more reason for me to want to get there as soon as I can. Of course family issues always come up and require our attention. I have been babysitting my great-nephew and helping my niece get her life in order. As soon as my duties as auntie/babysitter/life coach begin to dwindle, I will be on a plane to Belize!

Great picture Winsom, and a wonderful meditation. I can’t wait to spend some time with you in Belize. I trust everything worked out as it should with your builder. Peace, Cherie
