Lazy Sunday

by | Uncategorized

This is a lazy Sunday. Woke up to rain at 6am, brewed some coffee and went back to bed with a magazine dated January 2005, just haven’t got time for lots of reading plus magazines and books are hard to get here so the few I brought with me, I am spreading them out. At eight a.m. got out of bed to take a shower and then make breakfast only to find I had no water plus power was off. Calmed myself and figured I should have done the shower thing at 6am when I woke up. Went and made breakfast, thanks to my guides, I have a gas stove. Took my third cup of coffee and grilled open face sandwiches of tomatoes garlic, onions, sweet and hot peppers covered with cheddar and mozzarella cheese to the porch. I managed to get the dogs to lie down; they were excited about sharing my breakfast. Climbed into the hammock, balancing my coffee and plate with the magazine. Spent the next couple of hours reading, eating and listening to the rain. At twelve thirty p.m. the radio next door started up so I knew the power was on. I knew the water would be on too, had a wonderful shower and is now on the computer my link to the outside world.
