FRESH TOMATO SAUCE

by | Uncategorized

I woke up this morning to a beautiful sunny morning. Made myself a smoothie of freshly squeezed oranges to that I added bananas, papaya, mangoes and some strange red fruit that I was told tasted like sweet lime. After two big glasses of my mixture I went outside to feed the dogs and throw the frisbee awhile. It is now eight am and I notice a dark grey blue cloud in the distance. Came inside to cleanup when I was jolted by a clash of Thunder, went back outside to see where this noise was coming from. As I got outside the golden light went down and a dark angry cloud covered the sky, flashing lighten bolts and loud claps of thunder. I called the dogs onto the porch went inside to the computer to catch up on work while I waited out the storm. As I sat at the computer I decided what I really needed was a massage. Picked up the phone called a friend who has a massage office in town, she was free at 1pm. At noon the storm was over and my neighbor was going into town so I hitched a ride. My massage lasted for an hour and a half, which cleared up my lungs, left my mind in an ahhh state and my body too relaxed to do any thing but to remain stretch out on her table. As I lay on her table thinking I have to get up and make it home another friend came by and offered to drive me home. On the way home my friend stopped at the market, I picked up freshly picked tomatoes and a pineapple. Got home went straight to bed. Woke up at six p.m. and was so hungry. Decided to make a quick supper of spaghetti with a fresh tomato sauce. Chopped up the tomatoes with two heads of garlic lots of basil from the garden with a dash of this and a dash of that. Cooked it down to a thick sauce and served it with glasses of ginger wine was it ever good. Now it is nine p.m. and I am just getting ready to settle down to a night of work. Today’s gift is Peace. Blessings.
