As I sipped my coffee gazing out the kitchen window this morning a full grown Collared Forest-Falcon came into my view. He hovered for a moment over the garden and then came down on a tree limb. It is such a beautiful bird, and my very first sighting since being in Belize. I had to get Marlene to come and see it. We watched for a while then I left to get my camera. As I was returning, Marlene said it had flown off. We went out side to see if I could spot it, but alas it was not around. On the wall by the door we did get another surprise, I call it a leaf bug. It looked just like a green leaf on the wall, and then I saw that it had legs and was moving. The dragonfly was from yesterday in my studio. I need to get a book on insects in Belize. This is an excellent start to a day that will only get better. Go Gratitude and Many Blessings.
